Welcome Party

The Pley Early Years Welcome Event is a fun and interactive gathering where new children and their families can meet teachers, explore the school, and participate in games and activities, creating a warm start to the preschool journey.

Healthy Snack Popup Day

Healthy Snack Popup Day is a fun and educational event that promotes healthy eating habits for children. It features a variety of delicious and nutritious snacks that kids can try, along with fun activities and information about the benefits of eating healthy. The goal is to encourage children and their families to make healthier food choices while enjoying tasty treats in a lively, engaging environment.

Friendship Day

Friendship Day is a special event dedicated to celebrating friendship and building strong connections among children. It features fun activities like group games, crafts, and collaborative projects, all designed to teach the importance of kindness, teamwork, and sharing. The day encourages children to make new friends, strengthen existing bonds, and understand the value of friendship in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Harvesting Festival

Independence Day Celebration

Teacher's Day

Teacher’s Day is a joyful occasion to celebrate and appreciate teachers for their dedication and impact. Students show their gratitude through songs, dances, speeches, and thoughtful gifts, creating a warm atmosphere of respect and admiration for their teachers.

Grandparents’ Day

Grandparents’ Day is a heartwarming celebration dedicated to honoring and appreciating grandparents. Fire Drill Event

A Fire Drill Event is a simulated emergency where occupants evacuate a building in response to a fire alarm. It ensures everyone knows how to safely exit and follow emergency procedures. The drill tests evacuation routes, safety systems, and readiness. Regular fire drills help prepare people for real fire emergencies and improve overall safety.

Dussehra

Dussehra is a celebration that marks the victory of good over evil, symbolized by the triumph of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana, as told in the epic Ramayana. 

World Post Office Day

World Post Office Day, celebrated on October 9th, commemorates the founding of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874. This day highlights the essential role of postal services in global communication, trade, and connectivity. It’s a time to appreciate the hard work of postal workers and the continued importance of post offices in an increasingly digital world. The day also promotes awareness about the evolution of postal services and their contribution to societies around the world.

Diwali party

A Diwali party is a celebration of the festival of lights, filled with decorations, sweets, music, and family fun. People light lamps (diyas), share festive foods, exchange gifts, and enjoy dancing and fireworks to mark the victory of light over darkness. It’s a joyful occasion to celebrate with loved ones!

Halloween

Halloween is a fun and spooky celebration where people dress up in costumes, often as witches, ghosts, zombies, or favorite characters. It’s known for trick-or-treating, where kids go door-to-door collecting candy. Halloween parties typically include themed decorations, scary movies, games, and pumpkin carving. It’s a playful mix of spooky fun and creativity!

Talent Show

Talent Show is a celebration to encourage children to come out of their comfort zone and showcase their inborn talent. Children are encouraged to conquer their fears and stand in front of an audience comprising of their parents, friends, teachers and well wishers so that they can develop more confidence. 

Children's Day

Children’s Day is a celebration dedicated to honoring and promoting the well-being of children. It’s a day filled with fun activities, games, and events that focus on the importance of children’s rights, education, and happiness. The day is often marked with special attention to children’s needs, ensuring they have a joyful and safe environment to grow and thrive. It’s a day to celebrate the joy and potential of every child!

Thanksgiving (Lend a Helping Hand)

Thanksgiving is an occasion for us to be grateful for all that we have been provided for. We also visit other schools in the vicinity to donate educational material and spend time with the children there – drawing, singing and snacking together. 

100 Days of School

100 Days of School is a unique celebration to take a pause and pat each other on the back for all the hard work that we have all been putting in for the academic year. 

Pyjama Party

A Pyjama Party is a fun, relaxed event where guests wear their pajamas or comfy clothes. It’s often held for kids or close friends and includes activities like movies, games, snacks, and storytelling. It’s all about comfort, fun, and spending time together in a cozy setting!

Goa Week

Goa Week is a celebration that showcases the rich culture, traditions, and vibrant lifestyle of Goa. It often includes cultural performances, music, dance, local food, and arts & crafts. The event highlights Goa’s unique blend of Portuguese and Indian influences, offering a fun way to explore its history, cuisine, and lifestyle. It’s a week full of festivities and an opportunity for both locals and tourists to experience the true spirit of Goa!

Christmas Party

A Christmas Party is a festive gathering to celebrate the holiday season. It usually includes decorations like Christmas trees, lights, and wreaths. People exchange gifts, enjoy delicious food and drinks, sing carols, and sometimes play games or have a Secret Santa exchange. It’s a joyful event focused on sharing happiness and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Christmas Fair

A Christmas Fair is a festive event featuring holiday-themed activities, decorations, and shopping. It often includes market stalls selling Christmas decorations, handmade crafts, gifts, and seasonal treats. Visitors can enjoy food, hot drinks like mulled wine or cocoa, and participate in games or activities for children. It’s a fun way to get into the holiday spirit and find unique gifts while enjoying the cheerful atmosphere.

Makar Sankranti Festival

Makar Sankranti is a vibrant festival celebrated in India to mark the transition of the sun into the zodiac sign of Capricorn. It signifies the end of winter and the arrival of longer days. The festival is known for kite flying, bonfires, and feasts. People celebrate with sweets made from sesame seeds and jaggery, such as tilgul, and exchange gifts. It’s a joyous occasion that brings communities together to celebrate harvest and the changing season.

Republic Day

Republic Day is a national holiday in India, celebrated on January 26th, to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950. It marks the day India became a republic, with a democratic government. The main event is a grand parade in New Delhi, showcasing India’s cultural diversity, military strength, and achievements. Schools, government offices, and communities across the country also participate with flag hoisting ceremonies, performances, and patriotic activities. It’s a day of pride, unity, and patriotism.

Hearts Day Celebration

Hearts Day Celebration is a joyful event that focuses on love, kindness, and emotional connections, often celebrated around Valentine’s Day. It typically involves expressing affection for loved ones through gifts, cards, and gestures of appreciation. It’s a wonderful occasion to celebrate relationships, whether romantic, familial, or friendships.

Carnival Day

Sports Day

Holi Party

A Holi Party is a vibrant celebration of the Indian festival of colors, Holi. It involves throwing colored powders, dancing to music, and enjoying festive foods and drinks. People come together to celebrate the arrival of spring, forgive past grievances, and have fun with friends and family. Holi parties are filled with joy, music, laughter, and a spirit of togetherness, making it a lively and colorful event!

Eid Celebration

Eid is celebrated at the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting. It is a joyous occasion filled with prayer, food, family, and giving and promotes community bonding and compassion.

International Family Day

International Family Day is a celebration of the diverse school community which has parents and children from different cultures and nationalities. We celebrate this diversity with a food gathering where parents make food items from their own cultures and send it in for the children and teachers to enjoy. 

Easter Celebration

Easter Celebration is a joyful event commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, celebrated by Christians around the world. The day is marked with church services, feasts, and family gatherings. Many traditions include Easter egg hunts, where children search for decorated eggs filled with treats, and the exchange of Easter eggs symbolizing new life. The celebration also features special foods, music, and the sharing of love and hope. It’s a time of renewal, reflection, and festive fun.

Super Hero Day

Super Hero Day is to remind us of our own super hero qualities – being kind, being generous are examples of super hero qualities. 

Outdoor Picnic (In School)

Outdoor Picnic in school is an occasion to enjoy the summer sun in the school garden with friends over lemonade and snacks. 

Earth Day

Year End Party

A Year End Party is a celebration held at the close of the year to reflect on achievements, bid farewell to the past year, and welcome the new one. It typically involves music, dancing, food, and drinks, creating a festive atmosphere for friends, family, or colleagues to gather and enjoy each other’s company. It’s a time for fun, reminiscing, and setting positive intentions for the year ahead.
